What is Singleism
Singleism is an ideology that was founded in Arterex. Unlike many people think, Singleism is not a fascist ideology at all. Infact Singleism focuses on individual freedom and rights. While yes at first it was oppressive but Arterexian Singleism has adjusted to giving rights to singles instead of oppressing couples. A bill was passed in November 2023 where any oppression against couples will officially end.
As of 2025, Arterexian Singleism is mostly focussed on providing safe spots and protections for single men and single women from governmental help to other protective measures ensuring all single people feel safe and settled without need of romantic partner, However if they wish they can end up in relationship as we are not stopping anyone.
Singleist Laws in Arterex AS OF JANUARY 2025
- One cannot be forced into relationship without proper consent of 2 parties.
- Anyone cannot be denied of any service because of relationship status.
- Harrassment of singles is completely prohibited
- If setting up one for a date, consent from 2 parties is mandatory
- The Indian Tradition of arranged marriages is banned
- Minimum age for dating is 16 years
Type Of Singleism
Avaneeshist Singleism
Follows the principals made by Supreme Minister Avaneesh Kumar. This is the Singleism that Arterex Follows where single people are protected while couples are free to do their own thing BUT Single People must be protected, Most of it is already mentioned above as this is applied on Arterex
"Don't let Singleism stop you from dating, If you feel like dating then thats completely ok, we don't want Singleism to be a burden in your life that brings lonliness".
This line means that one is free to date as long as they maintain respect towards single people.
Singles And The Singleists
The Singleists
There are 2 types of Singleists in Avaneeshist Singleism:-
- Yeloungfae - The Ones Who Desire Single Life
The ones who desires Single life are known as Yeloungfae Sintar meaning Single By Choice in Arterexian (Sintar - Single | Yeloungfae - Chosen/Opted/Selected ), these people mostly focus on their goal, career or even business. We call them Yeloungfae Singleists.
- Waharkaz - The Ones Who Respect The Singles irrespective of one's relationship status
These people are known as Waharkaz Sintar Tèg OR Waharkaz Singleists. The word Waharkaz in Arterexian means Respectful or Accepting. These people may or may not be in a relationship but they maintain respect for other single people around them rather than flexing on them, This way a person could be a Singleist and respect the Singleism Ideology even if they themselves are in a relationship. Not necessarily a Singleist has to be single.

The Singles
In Avaneeshist Singleism, Single People have 2 main categories with 2 sub categories for each making 4 total categories for singles. Lets have a look on those categories shall we
- Unattractive Non-Singleist (UANS)
- Open Door (OD)
OD is where one is openly searching for a partner but is unsuccessful, Either they go on to become a Singleist or end up in a relationship
- Focussed On A Person (FOAP)
This is commonly referred to as Crushing or having a crush on someone, when one is desiring to start or estabblish a relationship with another one. If a person is part of this category, either they didn't revealed their feelings or the person they like doesn't like them back.
- Open Door (OD)
- Singleist (S)
This Category focuses on Yeloungfae Singleists
- Unattractive And Singleist (UAS)
These are people who are not romatically desired by other and themselves are Yeloungfae Singleists
- Attractive But Singleist (ABS)
ABS are people who are Yeloungfae Singleists BUT are romantically desired by one or more people, Basically what this means is that you are a Yeloungfae Singleist despite others having a romantic desire for you
- Unattractive And Singleist (UAS)
Pure Singleism (⚠ WARNING: Fascist Ideology)
This one doesn't need much explaining to do. Pure Singleism is where Singleists are superior to the couples, within this version of Singleism, Couples are usually oppressed and their rights are limited.
Examples of Pure Singleist Laws
- PDA is severely punished!
PDA (Public Displays Of Affection) are completely not allowed in Pure Singleism and are usually punished with punishments like death penalty or imprisonment
- Marry Only For Reproduction
Marriages are repurposed to only reproduction and not for emotional connection, Married Couples are treated like human factories
- Excessive Single Privilage
Single People were given Excessive Privilages while couples are oppressed and either executed or imprisoned OR used as human factory.
- Couple Tax
Too add to the oppression, Couples are taxxed as well just because they have a relationship
Pure Singleism was the original ideology of Singleism before November 2023 when Avaneeshist Singleism was introduced as November 2023 bill. Pure Singleism is also banned in Arterex

The Flag Of Tasigensk
Tasigensk, A country in this alternative universe follows Singleism ideology, Mainly Avaneeshist Singleism as it respects human rights, however Couple Taxes exists in Tasigensk. The Flag Of Tasigensk is a Singleist Flag. The bright yellow star with S on it is symbol of Singleism and the red background represents the Socialism.
